When i purchased mine in August, Dave had 6 glass doors available. However I chose to go with wood and voted that way as the stealth mode appeals to me. I don't want certain people knowing my habits, and I don't want people mooching over my cigars, when they really would not appreciate them.

IMHO The difference is in the temp. I have the 70% beads and in the summer when the house is warm, I had no trouble at all holding 68-70%, now that hte house has cooled down to the low 60's which is where I like it, the RH now will run between 62-65%. So the differenece is due to the temp.

Thanks for the heads up. I went right down and got one to veify what I knew about my analog one. The Radio shack is showing steady at 65% while my analog one is at 60%. I knew the analog was off by 5% from the salt test. But it is reassuring to have a digital. This model is so small.
