Paradisus Princesa --- probably the best damn resort in Varadero -- where is Century getting the type of money required to stay there???
When the hell are you gonna have time to smoke those double coronas?
*Note to self: hang out with century more often...
It's my 2 year anniversary at CP. I've been absent for the last month or so due to a new project at work that's kept me pretty busy (and not near an Internet connection). I'm still alive and will be in touch with all again soon. Swissy I haven't forgotten you.
You may all congratulate me now.
Bobby has been slowly getting more and more responsibility as the seasons go on. Originally Tony was grooming Christopher to take over, but we all know where that went. Paulie has been around longer, but has never really been considered as a serious contender for a top job. He's a wiseguy...
I've given up on cigar tracking software, just seems too tedious to me. I tried a bunch of them and finally realized I never really update it with cigars coming in and out so it was a waste of my time.
It's just strange that there doesn't seem to be any real enforcement of the embargo at all. I mean Cigar Aficionado has VIDEOS on their website showing the guys smoking Cubans in New York. What more way to flaunt it then that? It's just silly, but I believe the embargo will end very soon so...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the embargo prevent a U.S. citizen from even possessing Cuban products? Regardless of who bought it, if it's in your home doesn't it constitute a violation of the law?
True, but they KNOW he loves Cubans and other people like actors for example. If they REALLY wanted to nail someone they could search his home, open up the humidor and find thousands of Cubans. I'm sure they could get a warrant to do so under the embargo rules.
Man, I'd be screwed!!
You think it would be the other way around. It's much more difficult to nail joe-shmo who's not famous, but they could easily make an example of a well-known actor or politician if they really cared about the embargo.
So, when something is as public as a Governor smoking a Cuban abroad, what's the government going to do about it? I mean there's no doubt he bought a Cuban cigar, albeit on foreign soil, they just let this go?
Sitting out on my balcony in hot humid weather smoking a Montecristo Edmundo. Damn what a fine smoke. Smooth, creamy billowing smoke. Life is good.
