I don't have any pics because I was out on the golf course, but yesterday's smoke was a Hammer + Sickle Moscow City gifted to me by @cabaiguan juan . I had never had one of these before and I really enjoyed it. I was impressed by how it managed to stay lit even when it was sitting in the wind...
I missed MMM last week (time doesn't exist in Las Vegas), but here's my submission for this week. This wasn't the first song I ever wrote, but it was the first one I felt good enough about to perform in front of people. I recorded it in February 2020 (literally right before Covid hit) but I...
First Vizio went down after about 2 years and the second one quit after about 18 months. I switched to TCL after that and haven't had any problems.
Roku is similar to Amazon Firestick. My parents have an Amazon Fire TV (not sure of the manufacturer) and they like it.
Do you still have cable, or are you cutting the cord? I have TCL Roku TVs. I think I bought my first one in 2018, and I currently have 4 in my house right now. I've been happy with the bang for the buck, and Roku is very easy to use as a streaming platform.
Edited to add: I have not had...
MMM this week is when we covered Chris Stapleton's "Midnight Train to Memphis" at a Battle of the Bands at 8 Seconds Saloon in Indianapolis. It's one of my favorite venues we ever played. My profile pic on here is from that same stage when we opened for Jason Michael Carroll back in 2021.

I left the bench in 2007 to go work as an Ops Manager for a lab distributor. In 2013 that company got bought out and I went to work for Tosoh. I spent 9 years doing Applications (installations, method validations) in the field before becoming the training manager last year.
How long have you...
The story behind that show is weird. I had moved to Virginia from Indiana about 4 months prior and had barely picked up a guitar that whole time. I certainly hadn't been on a stage. It was a summer concert series for that town and they had a band drop out on them last minute. One of the...
We had a guy named Blake Miller fill in on lead guitar with my old band for a show back in 2022. Super nice guy and a hell of a player. Not long after that he went on tour as the lead guitarist in Alex William's band.
Here's a video of just the two of them:
And a picture from that show with...
