The Kirkland set I've seen at my local Costco's seem like a pretty good deal. CL or FB Marketplace is another good option to find a decent set of clubs for a good price.

For your comment about the good wood for no smoke, I have found I can use pretty much anything in mine as long as 2 things take place.
1. The wood stays BELOW the vent holes of the pit.
2. NEVER use a fire starter (like Duraflame) or you will have smoke for the entire fire no matter what wood...
That one saw the field long enough for the other coaches to take a look at it, then went straight on the wall. It has never and will never see a ball.
