I have a couple posts here with ashtrays I have restored and/or picked up at antique shops but of the 9 or 10 cigar/pipe ashtrays that I have, this is my favorite. I’ve always enjoyed gargoyles and this ashtray just screamed at me when I saw it. I’m fairly sure I got it at the same mall news...
My first Chacom. Elements #390 sandblast. Fell in love with the band the first time I saw it. Blown away by how solid it is. Amazing presentation in a leather/suede collapsible box.
I played a little Tetris a few weeks ago and could probably fit a box or two in there now. I also have a couple boxes of fake Cubans that I have been holding for a friend going on 12+ years. Every now and then he asks me to bring him a couple.
I really like it! Sharp as hell for a very clean cut. I needed it like I needed a hole in the head but I hit a 40% sale around Christmas last year so it was about $100.
I won a little package from Cigar Snob Magazine’s weekly Win! Stuff! Live! Contest last week. They are featuring Drew Estate swag this month. I scored a Drew Estate 25th anniversary backpack, two lighters, two travel cases, a cigar stand and a couple other items. They run the contest every...
New shop in my hometown opened today. I picked up a couple nice smokes from a well stocked walk-in. Liga, Davidoff, Fuente, Ferio Tego, Perdomo, Ashton, CAO, Dunbarton just to name a few. Some real high-end, limited editions too. I was amazed at the single stick inventory and the back up box...
Found this ceramic and brass stand for $20 at an antique shop yesterday. It was missing the ashtray but I had the big glass one that I picked up a few months ago in mind when I saw it. I was going to attack the brass with Simichrome, but I think I’m going to keep the patina. Th boss likes it!

For those who don't know, Cup O' Joes is a site owned by Sutliff Tobacco and Sutliff just got bought out by STG. STG is merging this site and tobaccopipes.com into Pipes & Cigars on March 4th. I think tobaccopipes is running the same discount with SAVENOW code.
Stocks...
I found an unsmoked Dr. Grabow Starfire #27 and this crazy Venturi “the pipe” Feather Rock at a local antique store. The Feather Rock seemed to be made of stone and research made me think it could have been a rare Meerschaum. Somebody on Reddit ID’d it. It’s made of resin and has a pyrolytic...
Let's see, based on what I was quoted in Jeep parts alone for five tire pressure monitors and a door lock actuator, so I'm going to guess $6,157.56.
Thanks for the opportunity!
