Meh on the Carrillo. The Cohiba Rivera lancero is actually quite good, never thought id say that on a non Cuban Cohiba.

I’ve smoked a pile of Opus & other premium Fuente sticks, but never their more basic lines, like the plain old 8-5-8, until yesterday. Was pretty damn good, not especially complex, but pleasant.

Had some construction issues, like flaky ash & needing quite a few touch ups, but damn it had some great flavor!

Fantastic Padron while watching my Gators play a good 1st 1/2 against the leg humpers.

No pic, but smoked an Olive Serie V Lancero last night, while I operated a flying ghost thing i rig up every year, kids come by specifically for that. Was good, but wasn’t able to concentrate…

I have my issues w Fuente QC, but damn an Opus with 4-8 years on it tickles my fancy!
