Thank you Gentlemen.
Busy day full of work meetings and running the kids to sports.
If the rain breaks I'm going to fire up some porterhouses with risotto and asparagus.
I would sign up for O-lights email list. I picked up a couple of their PL 2 Valkyries a few months ago for under $60 dollars. Well made and around 1200 lumens. Have put a couple hundred rounds down range with both my AR and 9mm with no issues. No experience with it on a shotgun.
Lots of good options mentioned already and honestly you would be hard pressed to go wrong with any off them.
Probably be better of to set some parameters for what you are looking for.
How much do you want to spend, what are you looking to hunt, range, what level and price of optic, price and...
I bounce around, but I love SGammo.com. Quick shipping, large spectrum of rounds and bullet weights, along with realtime inventory put them ahead of many other places. Sign up for the newsletter.
Received a time delayed bomb, that wrecked my HVAC and my kids tub drain.... Finally made it out of the rubble to post a thank you.
Truthfully last week was terrible for me. Wasn't paying attention to my work schedule and end up working a ton. Didn't see the package until Sunday evening, but...
Couple episodes left. I think visual and style wise the show is really well done.
I will probably see if I can get the series from the library.
Happy to see that second season of "the Expanse" is now streaming on Prime

If you want to try 18650s, I have a couple Fenix microUSB ones I picked up that I have no use for. They are yours if you would like them.
The advantages of P+ ammo in a short barreled gun are marginal, getting you ~50fps or so. I was able to get a good price on the 124gr HST p+ and the guns shoot it well. My full(er) sized guns seems to do better with the 147gr.
Lots of quality offerings currently on the market. Read some reviews, but don't get hung up on what the "experts" say. Buy a few boxes of each and see how they/run pattern.
Avoid gimmick rounds.
I run HST P+ in my shorter barrel hand guns and Ranger T in my 4in and longer guns.
I would agree with Doc and go with the Ruger given your parameters. The Rugers are a pretty good value for the money and customer support has done right by me. I've handled some base SR1911 and the seem pretty nice out of the box. I've shot an RI before and had no real complaints, but don't know...
15th was just to get dialog started. There isnt going to be a perfect day for everyone, but if we get enough responses we should be able to pick a good one.
