I personally prefer the tubos also but I dont always purchase them due to the price point. I love the smell of a freshly opened tubo and think that due the sealed nature of the tubos environment the stick in side is a lot less apt to be affected by humidity swings cause by transporting cigars...

Have not tried to travel anywhere with this yet as I have just set it up. In reality I would never need this for my normal trips and vacations, I'm primarily using this for long deployments on which most of the transportation is via military aircraft so no real worries going into other countries.

You should check out Tamuras they always have a descent selection and there's one near the pearl city area and island cigar and liquors is also close by although I think they are overpriced for what they have but it is Hawaii. Are there any good cigar shops in Okinawa?

Wow great descriptive review just lacking pics. The perf x's are great sticks especially w/ some age, the construction is beyond reproach and the smoked cherry aroma coupled w/ this cigars sweetness is a joy. the duration of these smokes are unprecedented imo. Thanks for the great review.
