Actually had me going in the first half of the story......LOL.:)

I let it burn out, when i come back to it i remove the old ash and re-light. It tastes bad for a couple of minutes but after that it's back to normal. I always end up finishing it, verrry rarely do i end up throwing it out. Actually i think it was only one time i had to trash it.

My Prayers go out to the families of the miners who perished.

That torch is not practical to be used as a portable lighter, better to keep that in the house. There's a huge selection of torch lighters that are much smaller and just as good.
