Hey guys.
A buddy of mine who I did a box split a while ago (RyJ Deluxe #4 I believe) wants to do a box split with another group of friends of his and asked for a recommendation. They are all novice smokers and probably don't have the highest tolerance to tobacco. They will be smoking while...
I personally believe the philosophy to live by regarding a humidor purchase is "Bigger is better." As Pugman pointed out, I'd rather a larger imperfect than a smaller "perfect." And truth be told, I've never found an imperfect with any serious issues nor have I found a regular sale humidor that...
Unless you have a wireless read out of your humidity you do your humidor a service by being able to look at your hygrometer without opening it 25 times a day.
Hey everyone. I've had this issue before with ERDM and had it happen again. A few years back I began to recognize this cigar when I noticed that, when it was on it was ON. It was almost as if a quarter of the cigars in the box were produced with different tabacco than the rest.
Well, I've had...
I agree with your point on the Fuentes. I used to try to collect the holiday Fuentes till I realized the maduros are damn tasty and I really don't expect any of these to be a collectors piece. And they aren't super hard to find.

Interesting responses. Thank you for your insights and it seems we all agree. Theres a bit too much hype surrounding some of these cigars. Does lacking in overall quality detract from value? I'd assume many of the super aged cigars (imagine a pre-castro cuban) don't have much if any flavor. But...
Hey guys. Been MIA for a while thanks to law school. Anyways, it being "that time of year" we're going to begin to see a lot of holiday releases come about from retailers. It made me start to think, which of these cigars are really worth it and how can you tell?
Now don't get me wrong. I'm...
Whoh thanks for allll the responses. I tried another cigar last night and had no issues (Padilla). But for now will leave them out of baggies just in case.
Thanks again,
Daniel
Hello everyone! Haven't posted for a while so please let me throw out a belated happy new year!
So the other day my uncle sees that I have cigars stored within the cigar bid/cigars int. baggies inside my humidor. I store my singles inside such baggies to help buffer them from dramatic humidity...
Hey guys,
I think we can all agree the cigar world is dominated by men. But, from my limited experience, I've noticed women generally don't seem to enjoy smoking stogies.
Am I wrong?
And if not, why don't they like cigars?
