Hey! It is a great day. The weather is fantastic here! I'm not even waiting for the weekend...wel until now. And I'm at work. I need to get this presentation done before 2 this afternoon. Aarrghh! I forgot about my 1:30 meeting. Umm, well, yeah - it is a pretty good day. The new COO is...
It's 12:45 in the morning, I'm smoking an Indian Tabac figuarado, sitting on my patio and listening to Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac and sucking on a Corona. Some excellent blues if you've never heard it. It's no wonder Peter was considered the better guitar player compared to Clapton in the...
I had the opportunity to try a few glasses of Longmorn Cask Strength 25 YO single malt Scotch last night. If you enjoy a good single malt Scotch, you'd love this! Spicy, full-bodied with some fruity undertones. I wish I could afford a bottle of it for my own. Mack

I don't know what Tim has to do with the progress of this pass. He started the west coast half of this pass that evaporated when it got to ardis, but djm is handling the east coast side.
has anyone heard from Burntfingers about the pass? It was delivered by UPS last Thursday. Burnt hasn't posted to the board in almost a month. I'd hate to see this end of the pass go down in flames too.Mack
Thanks for the review, Darren. I smoke the Montesino Diplomatico as a bar smoke. Inexpensive, small enough to wield safely in a crowded bar and not bad tasting either. I haven't tried the Pyramid but now I think I will.Mack
Darren,I believe the pass in question here is the Coffee and Cigar pass. There is no doubt that ardis was the person responsible for the delay in the Cigar Odyssey 2001 pass. Ardis pulled out because of a job problem, but the pass was mailed before the previous passer saw the notice.
OK. Let's see if I have this right: Burntfingers has the east coast box. Now who is taking sticks for the MIA west coast? cohibasurfer or Steve D? I don't suppose anyone has heard from ardis?
Same to you Rod! I just got done making up Easter baskets for the kids. It'll probably be the last year the youngest pretends the Easter Bunny and Santa are real. It's kind of like the bittersweet passing of an era. Maybe I should light up a little stick and reflect upon their childhood. My...
OK. I'll play. The Odyssey pass is floating along so I have time for another. I figure us newbies have to stick together. There are some pretty big shoes to fill to rise up to the level of the Basic pass. That one was done right. To a T. I took notes so I can start my own in a little while.
Oh, yeah! It was a Flor de Oliva Grand Camaroon box pressed beli. Not a bad little smoke when you're short on time. Very reasonable in price and the flat sides give be something to do with my hands when I'm playing trivia at BW3's. Nervous habit, I guess.
I'm here in Middle America and, while we don't have the utility bankruptcies - or the bonuses - that the Left Coasters have had, we've all had increases inour overall energy costs. From electricity to natural gas to gasoline. While a real shortage of fuel my not be imminent, we are using a...
