I noticed some packaging difference between 2 boxes of Siglo IIs. Wording on the outside, sticker placement, parchment paper, etc. all different. Attached are photos of these two boxes and also a box of Siglo IIIs and Robustos.

If you took a cc cigar to an US cigar shop, depending on who it is, they may or may not be able to help. There are MANY US places that would not have the first clue about ccs.
Thanks for the review. Haven't had one in a while, but I really enjoyed these when they first came out. Next time I reach for a NC, I'm thinking LFDDL.
As stated, try samplers. In addition to different brands, also try different sizes. When I smoked NCs, I mostly smoked larger ring gauges (48+), so of course when I rreally started smoking CCs I also went with larger ring gauges. I later found that many times I prefer smaller ring gauge CCs (~43).

Seriously, agree with what was already stated. Other than potentially wanting different humidities (NCs higher), I wouldn't worry about marrying of flavors.

Obviously you are skilled and how knowledge about wood, so I ask, when seasoning do you actually wipe down the interior wood surfaces with water? I've done this to season all 3 of my dors and never had a problem, but have heard some state it will raise the wood grain.

An increase in fakes, perhaps yes. But I would think most legit tobacconists would obtain and supply the real thing, so for the true/real cigar smoker for lack of a better term, should be purchasing a real cc.
Prices probably will go up somewhat, but I don't see a "boom" as prevalent as last...
