Oh, yes, wrappers on. I leave them on until I bring them up to smoke, but some like them off. I suggest that you get several months of stable storage at RH below 70% to make sure your environment is stable. You don't want them uncovered until you know that, but then it is probably OK. Some...
Hi, Steve, and welcome! Pop on over the the new member introductions forum and let us know a little bit about you. This is a great community! Find it here.

That's a lot of questions there and a little hard for me to...
First four people who reply, telling us if you've had a candela wrapped cigar before or not, whether you liked it or (if not) just want to try it, will receive 4 JR Ultimate Double Corona candela wrapped cigars to try.
A little back story. First, back in the 1970s, probably 80% or more of...
JR Ultimate Candela wrapper, double corona, 6.75” x 48. I got these on a lark a while back and smoked one ROTT and was not impressed, but #2 after a couple months of tupperdore time at 67% RH and this was much better! I’m going to give some of these away in the contest forum shortly, so keep an...
The last of my Avo cigar sampling journey, the Maduro. Disappointing. Hard as a brick, after two runs with the PerfecDraw tool it was still way too tight. OK cigar but too much work to smoke.
Of their 8 regular production smokes, I’d buy the Syncro Nicaragua Fogata by the box—if I could find a...
I’m probably gonna make an ass out of myself and get flamed for this, but WTF, it’s not like I haven’t done it before, right?
I am not a Cuban cigar fan. Maybe I don’t understand them, I’m not sophisticated, whatever, but they’re too much work to find, be sure you’re not getting a counterfeit...
For me, for July, it was the Avo Syncro Nicaraguan Fogata. If I ever find a good sale, I’m jumping on a box for sure.
From my Avo sampler, this was the winner, hands down.
After several posters’ comments about the Glocks, I’m going to use my Glock 45 (model, not caliber) at an IDPA match. My “zen” guns are 1911s or my 2011, but my G45 is 5th gen with a good trigger—I need to try competing with it.
Glocks are terrific guns. The main knock on them, at least as I...
I just put my “lucky” HC humidor upstairs after SWMBO approved of it, and then I wrapped the gap in the other one in Saran Wrap (with a couple Boveda inside) and put that in the basement.
I think tupperdores are the way of the future, but I’m glad I have at least one attractive wooden humidor...
Another in my Avo tour. The XO. Very nice cigar, solid medium, excellent construction and draw on this one, superb smoke.
Like the others though, it comes down to value for me, I like others as well for less $. So far the Syncro Nicaragua Fogata is the one I’d buy by the box. This one I might...
@BlindedByScience said a whole mouthful there. 100% right. Most guns are high quality for the purpose and it’s largely what fits you and how you like it. There is that matching of gun to shooter that is different for everyone.
I gravitated to 1911s because I was on active duty when it was still...
