I don't think it's possible to get a student discount on a refurb pricing? I may be wrong though, just not finding it. 

I've been debating this as well and have pretty much settled on a mac since Win 8 came out. Wife gets a student discount making it slightly more attractive as well.

My wife works for Starbucks so that is pretty much all we drink in this house. Yukon Gold is good and for stronger cups we go with the Espresso Roast.

In the past we typically did a 2 stick ($6-$8 I believe) buy-in and you got 1000 to start. Not sure how it work this time around though. The issue last time was an accumulation of debt among multiple games without sending out payment, which was then never sent once it got too large.
