Yep, over time it just happens, especially when you buy 2-3x the amount that you smoke - it's bound to happen. :)
I have some habanos from 2001. I believe those are the oldest cigars that I have in my humi.
I'm not a coffee fan with cigars. The bitterness just doesn't pair very well to me which is why I also usually stay away from my favorite style of beer (IPA's) when smoking cigars. My favorite drink with a cigar is probably a Jack and Coke but what I drink the most is just a standard cold and...
Ahhh Brick... you're never welcome again in my house (or my porch) with a J21 and a brew.
I kid... the next time (if ever) you wind up in the state of South Carolina, you're always welcome here. Where are you now days?
That looks just like the one I USED to have. Loved it. It finally stopped working, after about five years. However, Xikar too care of me and replaced it with a new one!
Can't go wrong with any... until you try them all. I have an opinion, as everyone here does, but the only way to be sure is to experiment and try 'em all. That, my friend, is the fun and beauty of this hobby we have and most of us love. Try them all for yourself and let us know what you most...
Okay, what cigar am I going to start with to enjoy the "King" and his mighty Cavs lose this evening? Hmmm... I think I will start with a Tat Regios and then at halftime, perhaps a Don Pepin blue. The only thing missing is that I don't think the Cavs will cooperate with my plan. I think it's...
You have until Monday, smoke another today and relax. I would get a can of Ozium and spray the hell out of your office the next couple of days. I've been in a similar position. As long as I have a couple days to air the house out and have a can of Ozium, I've never been caught.
You're definitely right about carfax being far from accurate. In the last 10 years, one of my wife's cars had substantial hail damage that needed a lot of repair and we had to cars that were in accidents. None of these were ever on a carfax report. Worst yet was a damn Ford Edge that I...
Several years ago, my wife was cool with me smoking in a room that I turned into a theater room. However, over the years, I'm not sure what happened but she has gotten less tolerant with cigar smoke. She acts like she is going to turn over dead if she comes into contact with it. While I don't...
Damn, guys... give the guy a break, sheesh.
To answer your question, bill u, keep 'em at 80% humidity in direct sunlight and you will be fine, but make sure you just keep them for yourself to enjoy. Happy smoking!
Last night, a Liga Privada Undercrown. I've actually only had a couple of these before. It was okay, not great. However, I think it was more that my palate was affected by the spicy dinner that I had. If I had smoked it with a coke, I probably would have enjoyed it more but I felt like...
