1st Cigar that blew you away!

The picture tells the story.  Nicely done.

    Spur's chance this year?

Ahhhh, well... they kind of did make it look easy; actually VERY easy.    76% shooting percentage in the first half?!?  That was ridiculous.    Go Spurs!  Watch out Thursday night because the Heat are going to throw everything at them.

    Spur's chance this year?

I gotcha.  We're just on opposite sides of the fence on this one.  I'd like to see the Spurs stomp all over the heat in embarrassing fashion, although I doubt that will happen.  I see this series being terrific.  How many finals can you think of where we have had so much drama after just the...

1st Cigar that blew you away!

Padron 1964 Anni.  I still remember that day.  :)

    A Comment on Youth Sports...

That's great and so true.  The kids out there (at that age) really are bored as hell.  My biggest challenge, as a coach, was to keep the kids from playing in the dirt.  What is it about the damn dirt that they like so much?

    Spur's chance this year?

You can't stand the Spurs but like Lebron?  Ughh..   I still wish OKC could have represented, although the Spurs making it to the Finals probably makes it more likely that the Heat will not win another championship.   Last night was an incredibly entertaining game to watch.  Lebron out...

    A Comment on Youth Sports...

Parents tend to F- so many things up for kids, particularly in the way of sports.  Dad's especially try to live vicariously through their kids.  My son is 4 years old and joined a t-ball league this year for the first time.  It was crazy to see how intense parents make practices and games.  Most...

    Spur's chance this year?

I cannot stand the Heat.  The Spurs are boring.  Still, I hate the heat so go San Antonio.  It should be an interesting series beginning tonight!

    Summer Camping Cigar Storage

For just one week, you really don't need to do a whole lot.  My cigars at home are a completely different story but when bringing just a few on a trip, I don't stress or over-prepare.    I'm going camping with my son next month.  All that I intend to do (which I've done before successfully) is...

    Today's smoke - 2014

Great smokes and your pic of that Padron Anni has me thinking that maybe I ought to pull one out for Game 1 of the Heat/Spurs tonight. Nothing jaw dropping but last night I enjoyed an EP Carillo Cardinal.  I really like these smokes; great value cigar.

    Today's smoke - 2014

Tatuaje Fausto Robusto Extra last night.  Very much enjoyed it as I do with most Tat's.

    Spur's chance this year?

The Spurs are the most boring team in the NBA, and have been so for a very long time.  However, I have the utmost respect for them.  That boring style just works.   The bottom line for me is that I am rooting for ANY team who can be a road block to Lebron and company.  Today's Clippers vs. OKC...

Pretty good deal on some Tatuaje

I purchased some Don Pepin varieties from them a couple of times and had nothing but good experiences.  However, that was back in 2006 or 2007.  Therefore, I cannot vouch for them today being so long ago.

Enjoying a Mi Barrio this evening, late hours.  Good smoke for the dollar.

    Today's Smoke - 2013

Sounds delicious on many fronts.  After being out of town for the week, with the wife and kids out of town still, just fired up a Cubao Maduro Churchill, Modelo, and the 5th season of Breaking Bad.  I haven't had a smoke in a while and even with the Cubao not reaching the limits of some that...

Plume or Mold - the universal question?

Good info by Backslide.    That looks like a cigar, among many that was displayed recenty at a local B&M here in Tampa; one that is VERY well respected many cigar enthusiasts in South Tampa.  They defended the cigars by explaining it was plume. I didn't argue other than saying that I knew...

Got a counterfeit, any tips for avoiding them?

Sometimes you can smoke the same cigar one night and the next evening, it doesn't same the seem. There can be so many factors at play. Before claiming it a fake, I would certainly try another, if you have one. I agree with the others that I highly doubt someone would waste their time...

    Frothy Scrotorum?!?!

Hmmm... we need to find this bastad villian 'cause he is reacking a lot of havoc lately. :0 Oh yeah, I get hit over the head with that "unbanded stick" as well. Although, I'm on to this guy as I'm pretty certain I know what it is. ;)

Just got Hit! But the guilty party is still out there...

Good point, not exactly. However, as I'm about to light one up, I don't mind doing so. ;)

Just got Hit! But the guilty party is still out there...

Just got hit this afternoon with some nice smokes - some of my favorites. However, all that I know is that the dirty work was done by someone who calls himself, Frothy Scrotorum. If anyone knows this Mr. Scrotorum, please let me know. In any event, a very nice sampling to get and quite...
