And working on another Joya de Nicaragua Black Swan now, this time trying a Gordo from the sampler. I really dislike big ring cigars. They're uncomfortable in the jaw and tend toward being diluted in their flavor IMO. Every once in a while I need to try one again to remind myself of this...

Working the garden cigar earlier - Ave Maria Immaculata. A shade with decent flavor. My wife commented that it smelled better then most of my cigars.

This is pretty much how I feel about the AJ stuff I've tried so far (which is admittedly only a fraction of his overall portfolio). Several of his blends I just get earth, earth, and more earth, and a very arid smoke.

Morning cigar from the kingmakers sampler. Kelsey Plum. Meh. ETA: ended up dumping it after about an hour with a couple inches left. It never developed beyond bland. I've had a few connies that have some interesting flavors; this is not one of them. A cigar for people that don't like cigars.

A couple while driving earlier today: Man o War Corona and Espinoza Laranja Corona Gorda. Both good but the Laranja I particularly liked. It was my second or maybe third of those, and they are very good.
