Yeah I've tried a few times, it's just not that great IMO. I get why they were a thing when food was a much larger portion of a family's budget, but these days they're not worth the effort to me. The way things are going, though, that may change!

Caldwell King is Dead. Dominican puro with some tobaccos I've not heard of: a Negrito wrapper and filler that includes HVA20/20. All with a more familiar Corojo binder. Made at the William Ventura factory, which in my experience has consistently great construction. Flavor started out not great...

Giving another Ray Pages stick a chance after some rest, and it's pretty decent. Antihero - very dark Habano wrapper, Nicaragua for the rest. Also, I was not prepared for it to be 45° out here. This is some bullshit.

Espinosa Habano. Had a very slow start but it's picking up in the middle third.

Lunch smoke - Mas Igneus short robusto. Ecuador Corojo wrapper, Brazilian binder, Nicaraguan filler. Pretty decent little cigar. Quite peppery.

Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua.

Oliva G Cameroon. A decent everyday kind of smoke that's reliable but not terribly exciting.

As promised, I came back for a nicer cigar. Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Capa Especial. Another decently aged B&M pickup this spring. Cedar, lots of pepper, and tanginess.

Oh, and am afternoon stick while caulking around my garage door trim and replacing some downspout extensions. I think I may fire up something nicer a bit later. Hellas - it's a CigarPage Ray Pages stick that was not very good fresh. It's better now and was actually somewhat decent for a $3.xx...

I'm interested in what you think! So far I've tried the La Historia and Pledge, and I like the Historia more. I have some Encore on the way, and an Encore Black resting to try as well.
