Ya we went 2 years ago I think it was and had a great time. Rented a convertible out of Miami and drove down and stayed at the islander I think it was called. Lot of cool bars and restaurants. We actually didn’t make it to key west that time but we explored a bunch of the others.

I’ve been there though it’s been about 25 years lol. Still cool as hell though. We are headed down to islamorada in November. Hoping for good weather. :)

All you need is me to just stand near you. I’m the mosquito whisperer I guess. They love me. We have a service that sprays now. That takes care of most.

These are great. I have a service that comes and sprays now however so I keep these with the travel trailer now. Occasionally I just spray a little fogger around the house, but we don’t have many.

    High End, Retail, or Conversion?

You could buy some Spanish cedar, cut to fit, but then add a little soft weather stripping to the ends for the friction fit so you can easily move them around. The only issue might be the size of the space in the slats. But you could cut it the long way so they move north to south instead of...

What we found out was that the valve on the condenser had a leak I guess. The guy that was here took all day to figure it out. Not sure if they could have fixed the valve or what but we got a whole new condenser, and it’s finally cooling again. It took them longer to trouble shoot that and...

    Unhappy Thread

Turns out the entire brand new unit leaked out all of the Freon. They say it’s a leak in the condenser, so they are in process of connecting up another brand new condenser. I’m still mad about the situation, but at the same time we didn’t have to hassle about getting the replacement. I’m glad...

Well that was short lived. AC stopped blowing cold tonight. Well unless you’re outside standing over the unit. Maybe it’s a capacitor. Maybe all the Freon leaked out. Perfect. 75…in the basement. I really hope the wife handles this one. Because if I do they will just end up blocking my calls...

Do you plan on lining it with any Spanish cedar or anything? Any way to tell if it leaks?

To expand on this thought a bit..we did find the chimney guy for $1700 so that’s a win (until he gets up there and says it’s more). But upon looking at the chimney in the house, why do I need a chimney liner installed for a furnace install, where the furnace doesn’t even connect to the chimney...
