I've decided to make a comprimise. I'm going to buy a Xikar AND a piece of crap $5 torch from a gas station. Is it worth it to get an Ellipse or Exodus, or do any of their cheaper lighters hold their own better? I hear the Executive is good quality but a gas hog ... though it's only $25.

What brand lighter is it? Is it a 90 degree torch?

Has anyone had experience with any of the following brands of lighters: Promethius Lotus Xikar IM Corona ? My ideal torch flame lighter is reliable, fashionable, and user friendly with low cost of upkeep. I will primarily be using it with a pipe.
