    Today's Smoke 2025

Spent a week in my old stomping grounds back in Utah with some family and my old pals. Smoked my brains out but only took a few pics as I was having too much fun (and too much drink). Here’s a rundown of some of the highlights. Several ‘20 HUHC from from the handy travel tins. These are hard...

    Today's Smoke 2025

Very nice of you to say Michael. I must confess however that up until a couple years ago I was the worst example of this behavior. Almost never smoking any of my best. Not to get too morbid here but having my daughter in my latter years has made me ponder mortality like never before and now...

    Today's Smoke 2025

EUN JUL02 Cohiba Robustos - from my first ever box of CoRo - pure vanilla creamed honey - just dripping with it - nubbed this one to a full hour fifty - if only all cigars were this good.

    Today's Smoke 2025

Glad I can be of service 🤗 I get quite nostalgic smoking them. Might be I’m one of the few that still have a lot of these. I like posting them with the generic bands because I know many of us had these in our humidors at one time or another. As Brandon stated, for many of us these were our first...

    Today's Smoke 2025

‘01 PSD3 EL - have loved these since release. Cocoa, coffee, black licorice. These have picked up some real strength in near 25 years. Smooth, rich, delicious.

    Saving dried cubans

I’m with Michael here. You won’t find many cheaper than me or likely to find many more enamored with Cuban cigars so believe me when I say - toss them. Not worth your time or trouble. Fakes bought in Cuba are rarely worth smoking let alone fakes that have not been properly cared for (for years)...

    DMSO Any experience?

Interesting. I’m sure you’re right. I’ve no experience with that drug.

    Saving dried cubans

As many have stated they won’t recover fully but I have some experience with this and can tell you if you slowly rehydrate them you may be surprised how good they still smoke. Unfortunately the aging potential is likely shot but they may still smoke well. I’ve had some incredible smoking...

    DMSO Any experience?

Any muscle, soft tissue or nerve pain. I like the 70/30 dilution but there is no wrong way to use it. The roll on is the easiest most efficient delivery form I’ve used.

    Liquor Acquisitions

I don’t know who makes it but my guess is you could find out with a little digging. All it says on the label is bottled by Alexander Murray. Nothing about the distilleries involved unfortunately. They have several Scotches but heard this one was very good and the price was irresistible.

    Liquor Acquisitions

Great to hear! I was plenty excited to see they had a Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Hoping I like most of the Kirkland stuff. The value is bonkers. I will return and report.

‘03 Cohiba DC EL - light roast coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, retro brings darker cocoa notes. Creamy smooth - just perfect.

    Today's Smoke 2025

OR (‘04) Trinidad Reyes - astounding from first puff. Unmistakably aged Trini. Loads of baking spice, cinnamon French toast, maple syrup - super rich sweet, sweet decadence. Amazing.

    RIP Casa Fuente

As I understand it they had more and more pressure to leave over the past few years due to second hand smoke issues and the ever expanding smoking bans. They won’t even allow smoking on the patio now and their lease is up so bye, bye la casa. Sad.

Went a little nutty at Costco yesterday. Especially on the Kirkland private label stuff. Not pictured is the Cognac XO which I am a little disappointed with but it’s still pretty good.

LTO OCT20 HUHC Tin - some baking spice & nice florals on retro but these need more time for my liking. H. Upmann rarely smoke well young.
