Quick question: If your cigar comes in a glass tube, is it better to take it out and put it in your humidor? Or put both the cigar and tube in?

I just bought one for 6 bucks at my local shop. It was a recommendation from the owner. I'm gonna let it sit in one of my humidors for a couple weeks before I smoke it. The smell from it is so strong it overpowers the rest of my cigars in that humidor. And its construction seems to be good...
