I've never pre-licked (at least the entire stick; I like to taste the end), but any time I have a problem with the wrapper coming undone or splitting I will apply a number of generous licks to the spot to get it to stick back in place. Seems to work pretty well.

I recently got a sampler pack of 5 Vegas Series 'A'. I have smoked four so far and I have been really enjoying them.

Weather was actually pretty nice today (if very cold) so we decided to spend some time outside and I got in a smoke. GF insisted upon bringing the camera out so I guess I'll share one of me enjoying my cigar in the 16 degree weather.
