Taylor Sheridan sure puts together some powerfully engaging story lines! After watching 1883, 1923, (we don't much care for Yellowstone...) Lioness, Tulsa King and now Landman we are tempted to watch Mayor of Kingstown. Heard some good things!

Just finishing up another college course History of Chicago (also took it in undergrad - but could not resist doing it again here at the junior college - it was definitely much easier this time around...). Had to do a movie assignment and one of the available options was the Blues Brothers...

Loved Boots! Not sure what it would be like if I was a former Marine and saw it - but it sure did feel like stories I've been told by my Marine friends. And - I can't help but yell "Navy" every time momma farts. She gets so mad... 😜

Momma is a huge Wicked fan, so of course I scored the pre-release tickets in 4DX. Big mistake... The experience was interesting (much different than the regular screening as we had wind, bubble, smoke, lightning flashes, etc.) - but those damn bumpy uncomfortable seats were killer. Almost too...

Just returned from a 13 day Transatlantic Cruise on the Celebrity Ascent - from Rome to Ft. Lauderdale, with stops in Sardinia, Gibraltar and Bermuda. Missing all of the specialty restaurants, the endless Old Fashions, the amazing Thermal Suite (steam rooms and saunas), the sun decks, pools and...

Not surprising... When we went through our Global Entry interview he kept insisting it was a "trust" thing - in other words Customs trusted that we would claim anything, as we should, that we bring back into the country. Including contraband... The funny thing is - on at least two occasions I...
