Well, I guess it's just going to take some time. Some folks may choose to help out and some won't. I'm not losing sleep over it, but I thought I would give it a try. Afterall, it's a public forum and what better group of people to ask.

Thanks to those who have responded. There are some very cool looking cigar bands out there. I didn't realize how many different ones there actually are.

I thought that was Dennis Rodman at first.....lol. It's ok if you want to ignore and be silent.....gives those that may be interested more space to speak up.

Anyone else interested in sending some cigar bands my way? If you're just going to throw them out anyway, why not get a little something out of them?

I'm glad you liked them. I tried to show as much of the larger bands as possible and still look like it's on a cigar with the brown background. The smaller bands, I tried to make look like on actual width of a cigar. I also tried to match up the brown color of the cigar with that band...

See those are cool ideas too!

Does anyone in here collect them? Does anyone else make anything artistic out of them?

Well, NO! After 15 years in US Army and not smoking, no sense starting now. I tell folks the only way I'll smoke is if I'm on fire!! LOL The last time I tried smoking, I was 15 and I hacked and choked and just decided there that I wouldn't do it again! I wasn't one of the "cool" kids.

That's exactly right! Same size as a baseball card. The "stick" looking ones, with ash or no ash, are approx 3 7/8" x 7/8".

Just in case anyone will be in Cleveland area next weekend, I'll be at the Piston Powered Autorama Show (Apr 5,6,7) at the I-X Center with my Hot Rod Magnets of course and some cigar magnets too! If you're going to the show, stop on by and say Hello in person!
