For me, G&T (Bombay) goes well with the HdM #2 and RyJ Short Churchill; especially in the warm tropics of Singapore!

Thanks Wikey / Michael, I was not aware of the change. Here in Asia the only new tube is for the RyJ Short Churchill. I will keep a look out for the other new tubes from RyJ.

Actually, my understanding is that only the RyJ Short Churchills will sport the new tube design. All others remain unchanged. Worth doing some checking.

The RyJ Short Churchill is a great smoke. By all means, put a few in the humidor to settle and age but do yourself a favour and smoke some of these now. This is my favourite at the moment and I smoke at least one a week.

Nice job. Is it holding the humidity? Did you allow time for the cabinetdor to season?

I would also be interested to hear from people that use these units for their cigars. I have a 150 stick humidor and it maintains RH at 72% which is okay. My problem is that I am currently living in Singapore and the temperature is always above 27 degrees celsius (approx 80 F). I was thinking...

From what I have seen in my travels it is purely personal choice. Leave it on, take it off, up to you. Just enjoy the smoke.
