    A little Fuente Porn

    Aromatics

If you dont have an hour to devote to a cigar there are plenty of smokes that will take considerably less time. Some of the bigger brands even make non flavored cigarillos i.e. ashton, arturo fuente, macanudo. I have been smoking more robustos and such since winter started, these generally...

    Thompson Cigar SUCKS BALLS!

Thompson somehow got my address and sent me a catalog, I was pissed. I hope I dont start getting all their wortless marketing crap all the time now. I'm burning the catolog that they sent me.

    Dominican vs. Nicaraguan

I personally enjoy the domincan cigars like the opus's, fuentes, vsg's etc, but on the other hand i also enjoy padron, dpg, san cristobal, etc. So for me it does not come down to the country of origin, but the blend, and the brand/line. I have favorites on both sides of the sea, no clue about...

La Flor Dominicana - Double Ligero Chisel Maduro

I found this to be a very good cigar, however it almost made me sick as I hadnt ate anything for a while and I was drinking on top of it. I intend to buy a few more of these in the future.

    Any Homebrewers Out There

I do some homebrewing when i have time. My most recent batch was a doppelbock, it turned out quite nice. It would go perfect with a nice full bodied cigar. Nice setup with the taps pods8.

    new cigar enthusiast

You cant go wrong with fuente esp for the price. Oliva is another very well priced cigar that is very good. Padron, also very good, but some can be a little bit more per stick depending on which one you get.

Ashton VSG - OR or regular release?

So the VSG cabinent that I have will taste different than a regular VSG? I picked a VSG cabinet up a while back and havent gotten around to smoking it yet. I love the regular VSG's though.

Ashton VSG - OR or regular release?

What is the difference between the VSG and the VSG cabinent? BTW I love these cigars, still prefer opus's though.

    Rocky Patel Old World Reserve

I was impressed by this cigar. It was medium-full bodied, with notes of cocoa, coffee, slight spice. This was a good cigar and I would definently buy this again. One of my favorite rp cigars.

    Dc Maximus #3

I actually picked one of these up today by chance when my local b&m didnt have any opus x in. Have not had a chance to try it yet. I have high expectations however.

    OpusX Petit Lancero

I have smoked a couple of these and they're still one of my favorites in the opus line. Opus's are some of my favorite cigars also. I dont buy them for the ungodly high prices you find on the internet though. So they're not that bad for the price at the b&m where i buy them. Glad you enjoyed...

    San Cristobal Review

I also found these cigars to be somewhat in the ballpark of a vsg, though I still find vsg's better imo. These cigars are a nice new addition to the ashton line. I am considering going in on a box with my friend who owns a local b&m in my area. One of my favorite releases for this year.

    Whats Your Latest Puchase

A couple VSG's and some San Cristobal. I have found the San Cristobal's to be good cigars, but I still prefer the VSG's.

Primary place to enjoy your smoke

Outside on the patio, or on the lake when the weather's nice. During the winter its basically whereever i can.

    The trend towards larger cigars

I agree with Hoss completely. In the summer time I have the time to sit out on the lake and smoke a cigar for upwards of 1 1/2 hours. However even then bigger does not always mean better. I have found some of the smaller smokes to be just as flavorful as the larger ones. And as far as the...
