I have the swiss army knife cutter as well.... its the smoothest cut I have found.... and its nice to be able to cut a cigar wherever needed. It comes in very handy when a cigar is plugged to be able to cut higher up without destroying the cigar.

Ginseng... I spoke a little too soon. The description that you have posted is of the Vega Talanga Tercio series.... there is also the Vega Talanga Corojo series from which my collection of cigars originates.. Let me know if you would still like one. The Corojo series is Tercio aged as well.

Its not a beetle hole. With beetles... think round holes with lil scraps of loose tobacco. I had to point some out to one of my local B&M shops lately.

The Diamond Crown Maximus is a good cigar but different flavor and more strength than from the original. The maduro in the original line is IMHO the best of the Diamond Crowns. It is the most flavorful due to its wrapper...

I smoked one about two years old... a week ago. Smooth as silk, tasty cigar.

I'm going to let one of the FOGs chime in on the care & feeding of your new pet, but I wanted to say: You Lucky SOB! :) I'm fairly new to ISOMs myself. My advise is not to smoke it, it may ruin your life and your credit cards.

The Brazilia Gol, is one of my favorite smokes. Full of flavor and powerful. I would guess yours just needed some rest.
