I heard recently that these Punch Corrojos will soon be gone. Anyone else?

    Review: Perdomo Estate Seleccion Prestigio

don't understand what's up with those guys. I had an Estate Selleccion and had no choice but to pan it. ( Burned horribly, ghoulish taste ) Then I bought another, aged it in the Humi for 2 months and it was very nice. But still, they aren't good enough to warrant the price. I'd sooner smoke 4 or...

    AVO Maduro Pyramide

I am of the opinion that there is no other cigar on the market that is as consistent as AVO. They all smoke beautifully, with absolutely perfect draw and burn. The only other cigar brand I've tasted that had similar consistency from cigar to cigar was the Zino series...And waddya know --...

    CAO criollo pampa

Interesting. I had one Criollo Bomba that was horrible, but recently tried another and was very impressed.

Perdomo Edicion de Silvio Torpedo No.2 review

I'm pretty much of the same opinion regarding Perdomo. I recently purchased a couple of "super limited" estate Seleccions ( box pressed Rhombus). I can't say I've ever had a more paiinful smoking experience, and I do mean physically painful. I'm holding the other one in my humidor to see if it...

hence the reason for the modifier , "necessarily" before "lay claim" in my first statement:) I'll be interested to hear what you find out.

    Savinelli E.L.S.

This is what my dealer told me. I asked him to reitterate this info to me yesterday when I came in raving about the Savidelli , and his story remains the same. Now, he's one hell of an expert on all things cigar -- an encyclopedic knowledge, to tell the truth. (Great personal accounts of the...

    Savinelli E.L.S.

I thought I'd post a follow-up since I have just recently (an hour ago:)) visited the shop where I bought the Savanelli. The Savanelli I smoked was a Special Limited Reserve. (SLR) This is the cigar that Fuente is making. The other one -- with a darker wrapper -- is 30-40% cheaper and is made by...

    Savinelli E.L.S.

It's pretty new. The Reserves are made by Fuente, the ELS is made by Padron, I believe. (I could be wrong -- only had one)The Fuente Svainellis remind me of a vintage Zino Veritas I recently acquired: smooth, rich, buttery with an easy to medium draw. I think it's one of the best new cigars out...

    Savinelli E.L.S.

I just smoked one of these. Amazing burn, wonderfully sweet , mild and yet still rather complex. Consistent from beginning to end, and yes I actually smoked it to the end.Tastes to me like it's worthy of the humidor. 3 yers from now I expect great things.
