For those of you that make it down here to Houston, there is yet another good place for Herf & Skirt.
This is at the Houston St. Regis Hotel, Remington Bar . [the link pic is not the bar!]
This bar is quite nice. We have been there on Saturday evenings. There is a jazz band that plays, but also mixes its music. There is plenty of dancing, and comfortable seating. You will not be overcrowded nor pushed around due to an over exubirant youthful crowd.
It is a mixed crowd, married and single, but the age-group is definitely over thirty. There are plenty of single skirts there, and they are quite pleasing to the eye, and like to be chased from what I can tell.
Great thing about this place is that they have a cigar room, and it is quite large. Nice seating arrangement in the cigar room too. There is a cabinet humidor there, however, I suspect that the stock is overpriced, and not properly maintained.
There is no cover charge to get into the Remington Bar, even if one is not a hotel guest of the St. Regis. The parking is free of course, unless you elect valet parking. What a deal, eh?
Good place to take the wife or girlfriend, or good place just to go trolling for women. And of course very cigar firendly. Oh, and if you get lucky trolling, consider the back seat of your car, 'cuz the St. Regis hotel rooms are too damned expensive!!

Four Aces
