Protocol, a brand made by Espinosa at their La Zona factory has their Lawmen Series. Of which, the Phoebe Couzins is their latest line extension. You can see my reviews on their other portfolio in last years Espinosa/Protocol review thread HERE. I'm including this due to the tight connection between the companies and factory. This is the Natural with the Maduro to follow next.
1/3: Red pepper spice and vanilla sweetness with a citrus zest.
2/3: Cinnamon and some brown sugar. There is oak in the background.
3/3: Black pepper spice enters the picture. Oak is still there while cinnamon creeps to the background to round out the flavor.
Really delicious. This might be my favorite of all the Lawmen Series that I've had to date. Though they are in that $10 to $15 range, it is worth getting a few to try.
