30 YR or 1981 Scotch for BDAY!

Hi all,

I need some suggestions on a nice single malt scotch that is 30 years old or made in 1981 for a BDAY celebration this next year. Scotch that I love the most so far is Tomintoul 27.

If you all can suggest and get me to the right place I would appreciate it. Range $150-200. Thanks!

A 30 yo single malt for under $200 is going to be difficult. Black Bull 30 is very good and $150 here. Not under $200 but close Benromach. Of course, our good friend Seth at Shopper's Vineyard has the Tomintoul 27 for $100.

Glenfarclas 25 yo or Glen Ord 30,both are top scotch's

The price goes up exponentially after 21 YO. Good luck in that price range.

D&M has some 30 yo Single Grain whiskies. I had a single grain at my last herf and it was very good. Have a look.
