Use Expedia.Come or Priceline.Com. Use these both you will not be dissapointed.

I use them all the time and never have had a problem.

Also, Happy Anniversary.

I used Travelocity on my last trip. Congrats on the anniversary

thanks to everyone for the kind words! matty what does ( staff off-trip..rates mean? ;)

I scored with Priceline BIG-TIME for our 20th anny... I went during the week, and in June, which I believe brought the price down considerably, but...

I was curious how Priceline worked, so I put in a ridiculously low bid ($500) on a 3 day, 2 night trip to Venetian, including air-fare. It was accepted... We flew American, and stayed in an upgraded 2400 square foot suite (marble floors, gold fixtures, wet bar, jacuzzi tub, etc. The wife was in HEAVEN...

And, as an added bonus, I did some research on the Internet about shows going on about 5 months before we went. I narrowed it down to one of several, and began doing research on purchasing tickets. I found online that Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island (Mystere) had seats in the 5th row, so I booked them. When I arrived at the box office, the woman at the counter was shocked. She told me I had "broker" tickets and was curious how I had gotten them out of their system...

Matty was trying to tell you to stay off the strip for the better deals. That is true... But there is nothing like staying at Bellagio's or Venetian, especially if its a special occasion...

Enjoy!

I Suggest either the Suncoast...The Rampart (both close to me wink wink)
as far as places on the strip...the Tropicana has good rates since it is an older spot...but is still very nice...

I used to live just down the street from those as well, right next to the ice rink.

There's a nice public golf course off of Rampart as well. Perhaps Matty knows the name, it's been four years for me.

there are SEVERAL exceptional golf courses up this way...hell the Local YMCA even has one!!!

I am not a big golfer...(cigars destroyed my hand eye cordination) but I know which one you are talking about

BTW
exaclibur is a nice place to stay..across the street at thr Tropicana there is a fairly new Cigar bar there everyone should chekc out..I hear it is great
