A four channel RC helicopter

Now thats more than a little bit cool.

RC has been a hobby of mine since I was a little boy, passed on to me by my father, I never had a helicopter though I build my own airplanes out of balsa and plywood. This is one of the neatest projects I've ever seen.

I too am an RC freak, I used to drag Emo with me to the Hobby Shop. As he sighed in disdain, I would wanderr the aisles all wide eyed...
Personally, I like Hirobo the Sceadu. 30 scales.
I don't fly RC, I just like to build and mod- I will tell you Helis are a drain on the pocket, more so than planes.... One small slip and POOF! your new upgrades are toast-


What I would like to do is learn to fly a real heli
Now that would be freaking cool !!!

:thumbs: Cheekie! Yeah cost and the fear of cutting off my own head are the two reasons I've never gotten a Heli.

I might someday, even though I remember what happened to my Dad's first Heli... 10 secs and 5000 dollars went *POOF*

And I've switched over to mostly premade for flying, I had a piper cub I spent over 300 hours on turn into a pile of matchsticks and it almost broke my heart.

Did you ever see the video of that huge B-52 model? That thing was sweet but also went up in a ball of flames, oh well its one of the risks RCers take everytime they put one of the models up in the air.

Yeah I have helped trick out some 3D helis and man that was a heart breaker. I am not much of an operator, I have done cars elect/ nitro, Buggies, helis... I have yet to do boats, trains, and planes.

My children's father was an rc'er too, so when I finally moved out I left all of my stuff-
Radios, cars, hop- ups....Haven't gotten back into it because of time constrains and now being a single mom has really taken a toll on finances so I just can't justify that much being spent on something that is NOT NEEDED.
