...found this on another forum I moderate. I laughed out loud over this one; very clever....

I used to live in an old neighborhood, homes were 6' apart. I was pretty good friends with my neighbor. His living room window matched up with our bedroom window. He had a large Toshiba television that I could easily see from my bedroom window. I purchased a universal remote.

One evening he was watching television and got up to get something. While he was out of the room, I turned the channel. He got back and just stood there staring at it. Over the next couple of weeks, when he would leave the room, I would either turn the channel, turn it on or off or change the volume. He would always come back in a just stand there looking at the tv, then kind of look around like the place was haunted.

One evening, they had company over and I kept turning it on to BET really loud while they were playing cards. I did this on and off the entire time they lived there. When they moved, I gave them a house warming gift. I put the remote in a box and a card. The card said, here is a universal remote that is already programmed for your television. It has been tested and works great, plus I don't have a need for it anymore.

ROFL.....B.B.S.

Thats great! Good laugh.

I did similar to my sister, every time I saw her car parked someplace I would turn her stereo up as loud as it would go (think knobs, not buttons) turn on the wipers and lock the doors. It drove her crazy until she saw my tail lights sneaking away one day.

That is hilarious that he did it for that long. We did a similar thing in Jr. high school. We had TV's put in every room and they would show a little 10 to 20 minute show in the mornings that was piped in ( I can't remember the name of the program.) Anyway, for about a week (before we got caught) we would pass around a universal remote turning the TV on during class or off while the program was running. It was great. AHHHHHHHHH Memories.

I used to have a watch that would work as a universal remote and I would do **** like that to different people. It was always funny! I wonder what ever happened to that watch?
