A MESSAGE OF THANKS

To all of you who took the time to prayer, condolences and heartfelt wishes, I thank you. The service was full as all the members of his surgical floor attended, about 300 people.

I finally got to see my son (the General), kidding, E6 in full dress with battle ribbons, purple heart and Bronze Star. He gave the occasion some class.

The outdoor service was brief, and that was that. Shawn's two sons handled themselves with respect.

My unbounded thanks to you for a shoulder to lean and cry on.
