I was pleasantly suprise to arrive home to find a recent order relaxing on my front porch. I tore into the box to find two words. Esplendidos and Fundadores. As my mouth salivated and hands shook I quickly removed my knife from my pocket and slit the stickers. The Cohibas filled the room with musty tasty smell. Then onto the Trinis. OH SHIT, was the first thing to come to mind! They were totally coverd in white, yellow, and green mold. Most of the feet and caps were deeply split two or three inches and busted to hell. It looked as if though they had been dipped in dirty water and sealed inside to rot and die. What a cruel world. Anyhow, I have seen mold but nothing like this. I don't have my camera or I would take a pic. I contacted the vendor and I am sure they will take care of it. So my question is how they could have made it past inspection like this? I would have assumed that they wouldn't pack anything that wet and that nothing could have poured onto it afterwords (the box was in tip top shape). Has anyone else seen this? I've read and heard so much about how much better the QC was on the island these days. Could they still be having that many problems? At first the damage was so bad I even checked for bugs, but no holes and no poop.
Sniff sniff,
Nate
