A weekend project

Hey everyone. Just wanted to share some photos of a project me and my buddy Mike worked on over the weekend. This is up at their lake house in Lake Isabella. It was his wife's father's home, who has passed away last year. It was in pretty bad shape, with lots of clutter and water damage from a burst pipe. But instead of just selling it, we're renovating it to make it their own little getaway from Los Angeles. Tell me what you guys think of the progress!! OF course, this was built while smoking a cuban LGC Medaille d'Or No. 4 that I received from a great brother here on CP. It was a tasty treat indeed for a fun project. My buddy smoked a H.Upmann Reserve No.1, of which he enjoyed thoroughly!

Next weekend we will finish the entire deck, pressure wash the deck planks, and start planning the exterior painting. Its been a great time already, and I think its really coming together! Thanks for looking everyone!

That is going to be a great getaway place. Not to mention the great Summer nights you will spend on that deck with a nice smoke!

I know where this is.
When I was growing up my family had a place up there in Bodfish Canyon.
I spent many summers up there. Lots of great memories of Isabella.
