So aside from my two large humidors that I smoke out of regularly, I also have a small humidor with 10 cigars that I'm allowing to age.
3 Fuente Fuente Opus X's (2 years)
2 Romeo y Juliet Churchills (1 year)
2 La Aurora 1495 Churchills (2 years)
1 Nub Connecticut 460 (6 months)
1 6x54 Cuban cigar (2 years)
1 massive 9x64 cuban thats been aging since I was 10 (almost 9 years)
I have smoked quite a few Opus X's, and I love them. i wont smoke those for a couple more years.
Romeo y Juliets aren't favorites of mine, but I assume overtime they'll get a little better. Not sure when I'll smoke those.
I haven't tried the 1495s yet. I'll probably light one of those up soon.
Nubs are a favorite of mine. I usually smoke them as I buy them. But I'm surious to see how they taste aged a few years
I dont know much about the Cubans. Just the sizes. The 6x54 was sitting in my uncle's humidor for a year then he gave it to me, and its been in mine for a year.
The monster 9x64 was given to me by my fiance's dad. He used to live in Cuba and has about 100 of them. Awsome guy for sure. I told him once its ten years, I'll smoke it with him. he wasn't very flattered because he smokes them all the time haha. I've been anxious to light it up for a while, but I promised him.
Anyone else here have a humidor used for aging? If so, Care to share what you have in it and the stories behind them?
