Alaskans and their love of ice cream

Seems that whenever a new chain resturant opens in Alaksa, that it quickly sets sales records for the chain.

DQ is no exception. Last Friday the first DQ in 17 years opened in Anchorage.

I have tried to go there a few times already, but the crowds are keeping me away.

I am really wanting a peanut buster parfait, but I refuse to wait in line for 30 minutes or more to get one.

Really? Its not cold enough for ya.. ya gotta have a nice ice cream treat to cool ya off huh? You Alaskans just aint right.

70s aren't hot! :laugh: I think we had a high of 105 today. I hate the heat, wish I could have gotten stationed in Alaska.

Man, that was the only "fast food" place we had in my younger years, in the town of Stanwood Wa!!!
I guess I take DQ for granted!!!

Buster bars- cheaper the the Peanut buster parfait and you get the chocolate shell too.
