Mr Peat
Rich Perelman, "Loren you have a Godlike Presence.
I just received my recent issue from the May/June DAV and found some interesting articles. All I ever hear of lets support our troops. The last DAV I put up really didn't get many hits on a thread and hopefully this time it will be different.
There is two things that is going on right now. The first being that a guy is going to take a cross country trip to raise money for the DAV and Homes for Our Troops aka HFOT. He will be riding in 36 states for his 36 years of service. Here is the link and the ride maybe delayed do to the weather.

The other is Harley's Heroes Tour. Its something that Harley Davidson is doing to help Veterans out. They will be touring 100 Harley Davidson Dealerships Nation wide to provide services for Veterans that haven't applied. Its a Mobile Service Office aka MSO. This all kicked off at the Daytona Bike Week. From the article:
"The mission of the Harley's Heroes(tm) Tour is to provide access to benefits for all veterans and show appreciation for their service and sacrifice to our country. While on the 2007 tour, the MSO's will provide benefits counseling to those veterans who may never have filed a claim for benefits or have found it difficult working with the Department of Veterans Affairs."
