Am I dense or what?

Ok, I would like to think of myself as a smart person (at least average I hope); but I have tried to enter chat and well, it ain't happening!

I can see the folks listed who are online and my name even adds to the list but, I do not get an entry box for my comments and see no verbiage at all.

Anyone know what's up and something I could try that might resolve this problem?
