This was my first cigar in the Anejo line sent to me by a BOTL as a poker payout (thanks).
Size 6.000 x 55
I had this cigar sitting in the humidor for months waiting for a special occasion to smoke it. Figuring I would not have a special day anytime soon I torched it at the weekly poker game.
Overall construction of the cigar was excellent as have been with all Fuente products that I have smoked. The cigar was semi-firm to the touch giving very little to a squeeze of the fingers. The cut was done with a cheap cutter I have and I don't think I butchered it too bad.
The pre-light draw was right on, not too tight or lose just right.
I took a stroll to my buddy's liquor cabinet and poured a glass of Jack Daniels Single Barrel on Ice and put a torch to this smoke.
I toasted the foot and took my initial draw off the cigar and was impressed right off the bat. This cigar had a great taste. A little spice a little woody creamy flavor I know my words can't describe this cigar. Let me just say it was the best non ISOM I have ever had. It was a great cigar from start to finish. I only had to re-light once (due to my playing poker) this cigar was good all the way to the nub and that is where I stopped smoking it.
The only other cigar I have tried that tasted like this one was a Bolivar Petite Corona (ISOM).
Sorry for the lack of details guys I was distracted by my poker game and with my beginners pallet not real sure how to describe my enjoyment with this cigar if you have never tired one do so.
The only bad part about this cigar was when it was done it left me wanting another 3 or 4 inches.
Next time I have one of these I will make sure I take better notes and some pics.
Edit: thought I could move this to proper topic but could't sorry
