Any flintlock hunters?

I am thinking about buying a flintlock just so I can hunt some more. I know less than nothing about them and all I do know is that I don't want to spend much money.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Dan'l probably wouldn't understand today's sophisticated rifles.

OH, but he does indeed. You, oh great white hunter said flintlock, not muzzleloader or percussion cap, so Daniel would be a great help if you are brave enough to mess with the frizzle in the pure form.

But pytodex pellets, powerbelt bullets, and sabots would probably throw him for a loop!

I am probably going about this backwards! I bought the gun, some flints, the pan primer measuring gizmo, I have the pellets and the powerbelt bullets.

Can't find ANY ignition powder! ANYWHERE!
