Any Graphic Artists in Our Community?

My girlfriend (CPA, AB, CFF) is about to go out on her own and is starting her own business valuation & accounting firm. She paid a company to set up her website, email addresses, business cards, stationary, and design a business logo. They are doing a decent job with the website work but have really dropped the ball when it came to designing a unique logo that she will go to market with. These folks basically took some clip art, added in her last name and sent them to her for approval. All of them are very amateurish at best!

Are there any members in our community that can give me a hand in showing her that there are more creative people out there to get this done correctly?...this is way too important than I see them treating this task.

If anyone out there can give us a little advice, please PM me for the name & details and then you can come back to us with your thoughts. I will pay someone for their efforts of course.

I can't help you with the graphic arts, but when it comes to the "performing arts", Portland OR is well known. Not sure how that helps, but it's the best I can do on two cups of coffee.
