I suspect it is worth the time and effort or they wouldn't do it. There are millions of fakes sold each year.

maybe i just dont see the point of making a fake 4 dollar cigar? These guys shoul have fake don carlos cigars. Y make a fake four dollar cigar. If some1 will fall for a fake this bad they would fall for a fake don carlos at double the price.

It's the Laffer Curve of swindles; the scammer believes that the high point on the curve is found with Fuentes.

You'd THINK they'd attempt to counterfeit an OpusX or a Don Carlos or something in the category of "more than $6 a stick"

Not the regular old Fuentes I can get for $4 a pop down at the local B&M!

It's just shows how little it actually costs to roll a cigar! I bet you could profit on even less expensive cigars.

A box of 858s go for at least $80 and list for $120. Plenty of profit margin at $40, I bet.

Hell, even $20!!

It speaks volumes to how awful they must be if they wouldn't even attempt to pass them off as fake Cohibas to the saps that buy these sorts of things!

WTF Over?!!

Fakes are everywhere. I saw someone selling boxes of Anejo on ebay last week, they were located in SD Domrep. I was wondering how easy Fuentes would be to find down there , or if there would the usual flood of fakes like any other island.

I wonder how many of those ebay deals on Opus and Anejo are fakes. That would be paradise for scammers, I think with the ebay policys it would be very difficult for someone to dispute their being ripped off on a $400 box of collectable bands.....shitbirds are everywhere.
