Anybody been to Costa Rica?

I'm going to Costa Rica this summer. If anyone has cigar experience there, what should I be looking for?

Speaking from only a bit of traveling in central America, I'd bring your own cigars, and don't expect to find anything worthwhile. Just my two cents.

Yes I have a Home there. Where are you headed?

There are some good smokes there, along with ISOM, although you better know your source!

There is a casa de habano store in San Jose but I have never seen it open.

Are you going near Quepos?

I have been and you'll see a few rollers selling fresh sticks at the airports and the touristy areas, but nothing much else in terms of selection. Didn't get to go to the LCDH.

I would also second the recommendation to take your own.

I will be in San Jose for a day and the rest of time I will be in La Fortuna
