Hey Guys...Just got the new edition of SMOKE in the mail.
Was flipping through it and saw a ad for a website called www.CFB4U.com.
They make "like" cigars of the different Cuban brands.

They sell them in bundles of 10, for a relatively decent price.

Just wondering if anybody has either heard of them or has actually tried their product.

Thanks....

Edited: spelling

I tried some of the CFB's from Uncle Mikey and some were quite tastey!

Some?

Uncle Mikey had (or still has) a buy five 5'ers and get a sixth 5'er free deal.
I split 'em with a pal at work.
I liked "some" of the CFB's more than other CFB's. Know what I mean?
Do I know what you mean?
Are you talkin' contraband? Forbidden fruit? "Exactly what aren't we supposed to smoke and where can we get it"?

PM Capt. and I'm sure he'll tell ya!

I find two things hard to believe:

1) That they taste anything like their Cuban counterparts

2) That there is any degree of consistency with the cigars month over month, yet alone year over year

I'll pass.

You are absolutely correct on #1... They are nothing like counterpart.
I can't complain on consistency but I only smoke about 3 bundles and about 12 different fivers... which is obviously not enough to judge consistency....
"year after year"... huh? they appeared like last spring!
Anyway.. if you like full body cigar than this one is for you...
I was always buying these from uncle Mikey... and I'm not affiliated with any store... :p

I don't have the experience to tell whether they taste anything like their counterparts but...
the one "spice", other than pepper, that I can discern from Habanos is cumin, and I did pick up that flavor from some of these CFB's.
The ones that I tried and liked were the RASS and VR Don Alejandro and one of the H. Upmann knock-offs.
Again, I don't know how they compare to the real thing.

Right. Year over year, I doubt they will be able to keep the taste consistent, because who knows how they are sourcing their tobacco.

Mel, you might want to substitute Trini for something else. That one (to my taste) was the worst, kind of charry

Chocolate and vanilla, Stepan. The Trinidad Fundadores is my favorite.
