Anyone else bidding today?

As a purposeful reaction to the rampant money-based commercialism that seems anethema to the counter-culture embraced by the dead? Or because the most important things that Jerry left us can't be held in the hand or bought for too much money?

There are one or two items that might get my attention as a possible wedding present for my brother in law (huge deadhead).

Can't afford it! :sign:

I'd like to get a guitar or amp - or even the signed lithos or umbrella......the thing that boosts the price is 'history and provenance'.

I tell ya...what's going to be undervalued is the Mouse and Goode type stuff...that market dropped a little...but will be swinging back in the next few years. I already have a bunch of the posters....man, those will go for way too much!

All of the other items, photo's and the like, can usually be obtained at antiques and trade shows around the country - you just have to look really hard!

I know a couple folks who will be bidding on the high end stuff (As well as the low end items) - some stuff will go on the market...other items will be held onto until another of Jerry's anny's....then the price goes up again!

What would be really cool is if they had some blotter from early tours...yummmmmm!!!
