I picked up a 5'er of these about six months ago, and they have been sitting in the humi since at 65%. The ends on these particular ones (I have two left) have started to split with about a 1 inch run up the side. Everything else and the other similar sticks, Best Sellers, and my WOAM and BTL's are all doing fine. I would imagine this is not a common characteristic of the Classic.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Bill

im not sure if this helps but i have two hemingways masterpieces and they been in my humi at 65% for about 2 months and they seem fine

Maybe they were stored improperly to begin with (at B&M, etc), do you know when the cracks occured? Would make sense if they were and then once the environment changed the wrapped expanded/contracted.

Anyways, easy fix. (although you hate to see it happen to THAT cigar, eh?)

Liquid Pectin, find it with your canning goods at Walmart, etc.

I will assume that I brush it on the crack to hold it together? I did manage to solve half the problem though, I lit one up about 2 hours ago with a glass of Johny Walker Black Label! Kind of like pulling the plug on a patient that dosnt want to be on life support I guess.... :D

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it,

Bill
